I wouldn't worry about driving in France or Spain mate, the roads are easier to drive than ours. I do
Ne 1600 miles in France this yr and 2400miles on a trip to Spain and France 3 yrs ago and not a traffic jam in site and easy to navigate roads. :ok

If it's as hot as it was by us, you'll need the hook ups for running the fans that mist water to keep you cool!!!!!

Just worked out the average for our back garden this summer over a 12 week period......42 degrees!

Some days it was just too hot to do anything, consequently I am behind on all my projects, especially the van.
Only good thing to come out of it was exploring along the coast on days out to find new (wild) camping spots!

Your place (to OP) is possibly a little to far for us unless we visit during a long haul, planning to go to Padua sometime next year so could well call in both ways.

Cheers for the info and good luck, seems like you have a lot of interest already.

Really fancy this. Does anyone have a quick figure for a ferry price from Portsmouth to Santader (Return) for van & 2 adults?
Are we going on anything else?

Hi Jon, any sitreps on wild camping spots yet and would appreciate some pictures of your area, thinking of a trek from France to Gibralter in the next 12 to 18 months! Any feedback welcome on camping sites would be good mate, yomp on, Sid.
