Bulk head removal and interior changes

Well after a year of being relucant change the Authenticty of my Panel van I eventually decided to take the plunge and remove the bulk head....well half of it at least.

After removing all the original panels and finding the original sound proofing etc and panels in orginal condition. :)

Before taking out the Bulk head it I had visions of it being a nightmare and ending up with a really rough job with bits of bent steel left over etc.
However, didn't go bad at all to be honest and after a couple of hours had the top half out in one piece.

I then decided to insulate, plyline and carpet the inside so i can later build an interior, so heres a few pics of my work so far for anyone who maybe interested.

Nice work fella, and a very solid looking van you have there. I love panel vans, but have cut mine up a bit to fit side windows. Did you do all the carpeting yourself, how easy was it doing the curved sliding door B pillar?

Simon.

Cheers Simon, means a lot. I did do all the work myself yes and It was a bit tricky to be honest but persevere and it will come good.
If you feel that you want it doing for you or want some help doing it, I'd be happy to help. don't hesitate to ask bud :ok
Could even price up some carpet for you too if required :)

Hi

Looks like a good job, im about to do this to my panel, I have a couple of questions
-Did you screw the boards to the van first then glue the carpet over the top?
-what thickness ply did you use?
-what type of insulation did you use?
-are you going to line the roof?
