Re: Fuel breather tanks and pipes??
yeah well that was idea, but it seems like no one has any info on them or why it is such an over enginered system in appearence?. I can fully understand the vacum effect from removing fuel from a sealed tank but they are normally just vented? Those of you with subaru conversions must have different tanks and so removed them as a result..???

Re: Fuel breather tanks and pipes??
Now how comes i never found those posts on my searches, thanks rob.
Interesting info, the u shaped tank would explain why they were needed for that particular tank and why so many other vehicles dont require them. There purpose on this particular vehicle was what i really wanted to know, like a 5 year old child that constantly asks why??
Now i know why they are there, i can find a simpler solution like losing the bottles/tanks and teeing the breather pipes to a vented fuel filler neck being as that needs replacing anyways as i have already cut the arch off to replace the rotten panel....
Many thanks for your replys....
