Its a bit white white to me but each to your own, If I was wanting to paint my van say white I would check out a new car to see it in the flesh, there are more shades of white than any other colour IIRC,

White is the new black when it comes to motors! Go as white as possible. Stand out. Be the one to start a trend! just make sure your wheels are super super super glossy black, with some red pinstripes.

Actually, don't do it! I'm going to!!! :ok

I hate change of colours when the whole vehicle inside and out isnt done, now as yours is white allready then redoing a simmilar or the same white isnt much problem, have you thought about keeping the original shade and adding a colour maybe one that compliments your interior, theres loads of really good ones about look through the garage on here

i like the idea of red pinstripes !
ive seen a baywindow that was white with "camper" written along the side at the bottom
but it was in porsche carrera 2 style red writing
it lookes pretty cool ,
i have some 16 inch porsche teledials going on so i may consider that

Thats the red nine design van. Slightly cream, but looks good. I really think you should go with the super white, like the new sirrocos and passats.

why not just do it the original, i know boring but you dont have to paint the inside to match. i changed my beetle colour years ago to porsche ice blue did inside and engine bay etc now its up for paint again im going back to what it was when it left wolfburg l20d orange!
dont fix it if its not broke cos after you finish it will be!

My van used to be Alpine White which is quite pleasing.

The previous owner sprayed it something resembling Tornado red, but not the inside. I am neatening up the joins, and making it into a bit of a feature of the van (a la coca cola i suppose).

In honesty though, I wish it was the same throughout.

M first van (a t4 granted), was resprayed in white, but I didn't know this when I bought it (the original colour was white) - trouble with this was as soon as I got the inside all cleaned up (it was a plumbers van), it really showed and made the outside look grubby.

I think i've concluded, in my opinion, that if i ever have a say in the matter - it's original throughout....

Let us know what you decide! It's a very personal thing I think.
