T25 GL back to original colour

Post by camperman »

We were asked to spray this van the same as the inside colour

So we stripped it down , took the roof off, stripped the paint, did a bit of welding, preped it, sprayed it with 2K with laquer over and then put it back together

Total of 5 weeks work, and not as expensive as some think

Would it be uncouth to ask (ballpark) what this cost your customer?

I have the exact same issue. Previous owner did red over Alpine White, and i'd quite like to return original?

Thanks

Wow! Very impressive.Must have been a superb feeling after the re-spray putting all the exterior parts back on. A feeling that i'm probably not going to feel for a few years yet! It's very much a case of grind down the rust and spray on some primer, and alot of silicone to get it through this weather at the moment.....all the best..enjoy your van.
