Anyone fitted a grill spoiler?

Post by batmangb »

I fancy one of these:

But won't it cover the screws that release the grill to access the lights? Anyone fitted one and can enlighten me before I splash out?

Cheers
Ben

I have one on mine and you can still get to the screws just at an angle

Hmm me too, I would like to find out more about the poptop you have fitted jamesc76, looks small enough for what I want to do. Maybe we could get a discount to buy 2 of them together batmangb?

Also batmangb, what do you think of the xtrons you have fitted? Is it any good as a SatNav and is the sound any good as well, or is it a bit of a compromise in both areas?

Oh and I'm going to call you James and Batman from now on, hope that's alright.

Yeah, I'm always up for a discount!

I'm very pleased with the Xtrons to be honest. The sound is good, good enough for me anyway. Its only got a couple of little 4 inch speakers in the doors at the moment and the sound is fine. The satnav is great, I got the Europe SD card for it and we used it all over Scandinavia, Germany, Holland, and Belgium a few months ago and it never skipped a beat. The Bluetooth works ok, as good as my much more expensive JVC unit in the work motor. Dvd's look good, I use a digital tv box with it and that works well too (with a decent aerial). Ipod works well too, if a little hard to get used to.

Having said all that it does look a bit dated, the satnav display especially. But I think it suits my van, and it was pretty cheap!

I'd rather give these guys the money:

Not that it matters as I don't have it!

If you look at the two the JK one has exactly the same wording for the advert. I think they just sell on the O'Conners one, probably get a little discount which is their cut for getting the sale, the prices are exactly the same from either of them.

*E D I T - looks like O'Conners make them.

My grill spoiler is fitted with zip-ties, ti can be flipped out to access the screws. I've also heard about people using velcro to fit them.
