I know its been covered here http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... ic+windows" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But as you expect the links are now dead. I want to make sure the kit I get lasts and some stuff I bought on ebay has been really crap! While I am at it I am going to fit OG central locking as well. I think I have all the bits... we will see? While the door car is off I will also put a small speaker up the top in the door pannel as at the moment I have 6x9 speakers in the lower part of the door pocket and on the motorway the sound is lost.
It this the type of electric window kit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ELECTRIC-WINDOW-C ... 5ad305e0df" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or one of these http://www.gasure.co.uk/windows.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thinking of one of these as well http://www.gasure.co.uk/predator.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
For the speakers I found these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BOSS-AUDIO-TW25-2 ... 4a9c59ecba" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
As you may be able to tell, I am not sure what I am doing! But with help will get there!
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re: Electric Windows.
I fitted a set of the eBay cheap ones, I was surprised how easy it was. The badly translated instructions were useless but it was pretty self explanatory once I got into it. I cut a little bit out of the door to make the motor fit snugly with out having to move the speakers.
I am taking the door skins off again soon to fit electric mirrors and central locking solenoids so will take some pics

Re: Electric Windows.
With the speakers you will need a cross over to get rid of the lower end of the noise range, else your speaks will die very quick.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_crossover" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What 6x9 do you have in the bottom of your doors, the sound should not get lost, with speakers that size (6x9 where made for volume, not quality of sound).
With your door cards off, sound proof the doors, this will improve sound quality and volume no end.
Boss, are not the best of speakers (IMHO)
If you still want the speakers ask the seller what the RMS of the speakers are, 250W Peak power means diddly squat.

Re: Electric Windows.
Thanks for the cross over info. Sounds complicated to me....I just wanted better sound out of what I have got and thought some small speakers higher up would be the easy answer!
These are my 6x9.... I have some sound proofing but could do with more maybe?
This is the OG central locking I am going to put in....if its complete?

Wiring in cross overs isnt complicated at all just a few wires to attach.
I think they should be used with mid range speakers not 6x9's
