Yep - our friends in the US so badly want cupholders, nothing will stop them innovating!!! :lol:

Any spills would help lubricate the shifter! :rofl

Looking more closely - the carpet bit is part of the cupholder so it is like a bridge over the autoshifter box.

Imagine that was a manual box - change gear n oops spilt me tea again and changed the cd volume/radio station... :lol:
