swap CS lump to JX?

hi, i run a 82' devon with a tired old CS diesel lump. ive just had an offer for turn key 1600 JX lump, is it just a straight swap with not much hassle? will it be ok on 4 speed box? cheers to all who look at this. nice 1!!
