VR6 into T25?

Post by lowtimeppl »

Hi all
I searched this forum for VR6 but no results returned.
I wondered if anyone had performed this swap, with what outcome?
I have access to two good VR6 engines, and I have a petrol auto 86 Caravelle. I see that KEP supply the appropriate adapters and some other bits and bobs.

Any info appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

How much is it from Kennedy's ? with shipping, i should imagine that it will be quite expensive ??

DS Tuning springs to mind, here's the link : http://www.ds-tuning.com/index/7-index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, i seem to remember that they need an exchange flywheel, unsure if this would be the VR6 or the original van unit :?

Something to browse also :D : http://volksweb.relitech.com/helmut/VR6 ... 6-engi.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I own the Galvy Syncro now. It is a nice conversion. Drives nice with the 2.1 gearbox. Torque curve is on a par with the 2.1 just higher up.
Cheers
