hi,Whats the easiest swap for my broken jx,im not after extra power,but i dont want to loose any?Any help would be great?thanks

Easiest and probably cheapest would be another JX! If you do decide for more power then a 1Y with the turbo from the JX or an AAZ engine from golf or similar. Even more go to a Tdi.

to swap to a 1y(after reading 35 pages of old postings)would i be right in thinking i need to swap oil pump,sump,flywheel,clutch,ex manifold,alternator brkt,engine mounts.
Do i need to swap water pump?Im hoping i dont need to swap f/pump,am i right?Is there anything else ive missed?thanks for the help...
