not stricktly mechanical but what effect does putting in a scooby 2.5 do to your insurance :?:

i have a 2.2 scooby lump, agreed value of £7.5k, unlimited miles, other mods, full on camper,, and full no claims I pay £300 a year fully comp

It only cost me £15 to modify my policy with Glywood (going from 2.1 DJ to 2.5 DOHC Scooby).
That was a couple of weeks ago, and I have about 2 months to renewal - so will let you know what happens then.

Not done mine yet but Glynwood quoted me an extra £52.00 to go from 2.1Dj to Audi 2.8 V6 in a T3. That was based on fully comp plus business travel.
Lead me not to temptation. I can find it on my own.

It doesn't really make much difference at all as long as its a camper! I pay less than £200 , limited mileage 5k, valued at £5k not agreed though.

Yes, I was told ins co (through Glynwoods) wouldnt be keen if scooby fitted in my Syncro Doka.. campers seem to be ok tho...
