On the face of it, is this a good deal for an oil-burner?

Post by silverbullet »

I have been offered a 1.6 diesel (don't know if it's turbo or not) from a 2wd complete with engine bars, ancilliaries, the whole shooting match as dropped out for £200  It can be seen running as the seller has a rig for running them up.
Worth a punt? Not that I've got any intention of fitting it to one of mine, you understand  I've got a bellhousing under the bench to team up with it an'all...

ive seen 1.6 n/a's GIVEN away on here after they had been swapped for a larger engine.ok so you dont get the sump and bars and stuff but still...on the other hand a GOOD 1.6 ..or any engine come to that, is worth its weight in gold..so to speak
the word 'pissing' is safe

Ruddy Nando's advert's have got into my brain...I'll pass on this one if it's n/a. If anyone would like the details pm for a phone number, it's down Bournemouth way.
