Hi,
Just wanted to ask if there is any companies that people recommend for getting a 1.6 TD engine reconditioned. I want to keep the same engine, as it will be my first car. I am looking at a T25 pickup, and if I get it I want to do it up as I am taking lessons.
I would go down the Passat engine route, but a 1.9 would be a fortune to insure.

Re: Reconditioned Engines
How old are you?
As insurance should be much the same what every engine you have in one.

Re: Reconditioned Engines
I am 29 but never had a car insured before.
I have had quotes on cars before and they have been stupid. Tried to get insured on my Dads 1969 Land Rover and I had quotes for £2000. They seem to go by engine size. Plus a modified car would cost even more.
