Exhaust....will this fit?

Post by Paul_Van_Denton »

Hi there,

I have a t3/25 panel with a ej22 and i desperately need a new exhaust. It has a total piece of crap on it right now, done by whoever did the conversion! So i was wondering if i could fit a normal scooby manifold on it and simply follow with a 180 pipe out to a backbox? but im not sure if it will fit, clear everything, i dont mind a bit of chopping and rewelding but i dont really want to make a system from scratch!.

Has anyone done this?, im not sure if this would fit a ej22 but i bet its not far off.

Your main issue will be ground clearance, I used the original headers on my ej25 conversion but its a caravelle minibus so high up but now I'm lowering it I have to rethink the exhaust.

i was thinking of chopping and rewelding like this. but i guess it depends on where it clears the bottome pulley, might have to extend it to the rear.

Yeah, going out and looking at it.....looks like its gonna be real close to the mount bar.

I bought it off a guy who had it converted by tsr/amr. Its not the best i dont think. Im just going through it and slowly sorting out all the probs. Really close to ripping it all out and putting in a turbo motor!!!.
