Just spoke the local company again. This is what he said about the power loss "The gas pipe goes inside the air inlet pipe which means it can only draw 80% of the air it could previously. Giving a 20% loss in power. You may not feel this in the lower revs but once you are carrying weight and try to go up a hill you will notice a big difference if you switch back to petrol as you are going up it."

Tosh utter tosh
I switched to gas/petrol up hill ...and it I just could not tell.
I know when I am on gas ..it's smoother on acceleration, less brutal than petrol

Ok Thanks. Gasure or Elite it is then.

Where does the gas filler go? I'm going to get the tank that goes in the spare wheel carrier.

Our filler's on the rear offside panel, but we have a 65ltr terroidal tank in the back wardrobe ... not sure about the spare wheel tanks mesen, but there ya go.

I would discuss with Steve where you can put a tank in a westy.
obviously you want the maximum cheaper fuel quantity possible

The people i've seen with the spare wheel tank, seem to have the filler on the front wing. I think on westy's you can fit a tank under the bed?
As before, if you want to see a gasure conversion your welcome to have a look at mine [gas conversion that is! ]
