Hi All
Thought I'd share what happened to us in France this summer.
The clue is in the title - the 6mm copper pipe that comes from the exhaust probe into the engine bay was cut through by the tinware where it enters the engine bay. This had obviously happened over time with the vibrations of the engine and just decided to "go" on the services near Avignon. I managed to bodge it and get to a specialist who fixed it in no time with the addition of a neat flexi-hose collar.
Might be worth checking the pipe in this area for all you A/C LPG peeps (presume it is an A/C only issue) as the system was serviced before my trip and it wasn't picked up so I guess it isn't a routine check.
Also, am I right in thinking this is not as serious as a petrol leak as the gas turns quickly into vapour thus reducing the risk of ignition…?
Anyway, got it fixed quickly and only other problem in 2500km and half a dozen mountain passes was a tire blowout on the way home. Not too shabby eh…?

Appreciate you letting me know if this is one of ours, we do not as a rule put the pipes through the tinware as we use flexipipes secured to the n/s rear box, if we do put it through the tinware we use a heat interface, let me know by phone, email or pm please and let me know where the conversion was done, thanks.
