Flashlube needed for LPG'd 2.1DJ?

Post by syncropatrick »

Hi,

My Belgium Syncro 16" 2.1 DJ came with an LPG installation. According to the advert the LPG/LPI was fitted in 2006. I have no other information about it. My local Autogas bods, although able to give it a 'Road Safety Certificate' to comply with my insurers requirements, are unable to identify its type - OMVL etc.

The engine as bought died, so a donor engine has been fitted by CJ.

I've done 500kms since then with LPG, it starts on LPG every time and it runs fine. The petrol tank is sitting full doing nothing.

Do I need to add a Flashlube kit?

regards
Patrick.
