Hi chaps
2.1 carb'd LPG
Looked at the choke unit today....bolted/screwed to the body of the carb.
there are 3 cross head screws in long gaps meaning the unit can be twisted. At the moment is is at one extreme of the adjustment....it could be rotated towards the front of the van the full length of the slider.
Inside the carb, the choke is already slightly adjusted.....but although it starts on the button its lumpy and slow revving untitl the engine is warm, when it will idle nicely on the first mark below the 1,000 revs.
Rung Steve at gasure....he said the lumpiness is choke related. Mocki has also mentioned this to me - both said to loosen the screws and twist the unit round a bit.
My question is......do I take it right to the other extreme or just half way to begin with?
I need it to start on petrol as well if possible.
cheers
Em
