hi
had lpg done 2 weeks ago, thanks steve. has been ok untill tonight. put foot down and no power. ok if switch to petrol. have done 400 miles , any ideas.

Tis very embarrassing.....it will idle, but put your foot down, and nowt. I was worried as hell that I had broken it.....but all it needed was a fill (my guage lies to me)

yes. i had a read of milage and it was close to what i had worked out it shoud be. my guage lies to me as well, 3 green lights and a empty tank.

These gauges are particularly crap, we never used to fit them, only some customers mithered for pretty lights so they were fitted as standard.

Please accept it when I told you all they are an indicator only use your mileage reading for accuracy.

They can be adjusted, if you let em know any problems when you come in for your 600 miles service I can rectify the reader then.

If you want to adjust it yourself then you slacken the screws off and rotate the sender unit to make it read less or more whichever it is out, please be aware we cannot replace under warranty if you break it, different matter if I break it.

Sometimes they get the float in the wrong position from factory, in a case like this you have to remove the holding tabs and basically super glue the gauge in the correct place, just use a spot until you get it reading something like then glue it permanently in position.
