Hvae you had your LPG filter changed yet?
Hello
Just wondering if anyone has had their LPG filter changed yet?
If so...
Did you go to gasure? or find a local LPG fitter
I need to get mine done soon but Gasure is a fair trek

wasn't even aware I had one?
be this the cause of your cutting out issues as per previous thread?

Hi Emma
See this thread
http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... lpg+filter
may be a reason for the cutting out but not sure yet

FFS can you not read, it clearly says on your book of words "change once a year", your problem has FA to do with the filter. There are some out there with 4 year old filters and still running fine.

Now that's what I call real friendly customer service.steve8090 wrote:FFS can you not read, it clearly says on your book of words "change once a year", your problem has FA to do with the filter. There are some out there with 4 year old filters and still running fine.
Just looked at "Book of Words" (actually 3 sheets of paper printed on one side and stapled in upper left corner) and it says "The filter in the vaporiser will need to be cleaned and replaced every 1000 hours of running. (only to be done by the installer or manufacturer)" (bold print in "Book of Words" too. So which is it? Once a year or every 1000 hours... 4 year old filters are okay? Guess the filter you suggested we buy when we got our gas installation last August but we received after last Dubfreeze we can't replace ourselves because "Book of Words" says you or manufacturer must change it. You suggested we buy one after you installed our conversion, and obviously I had not read "Book of Words" when we were picking up our van.
Can we (80-90 Gasure conversion owners) please have some instructions posted here on how to change filter. And the brand/part number of filter too please, so we know what kind and where to get it if in an emergency it starts plugging up because of dirty fuel or lack of maintenance and we can't get to you for one.
Thanks,
Lloyd

What is it with you, this is a Club forum, if you have an issue with me then I'd be very happy to deal with you during working hours, this forum has absolutely nothing to do with Gasure, I was just making a point that people are too easy to write out a post on here when the answer has already been given them.
Yes it is advised that the filter is replaced once a year, however there are some out there that have run happily for 4 years, replace it or don't, Customer care? well i've had no complaints, oh sorry except one.

If forum has nothing to do with Gasure, why did you post your first reply? Deal with it during working hours. You didn't even quote your "Book of Words" accurately.steve8090 wrote:What is it with you, this is a Club forum, if you have an issue with me then I'd be very happy to deal with you during working hours, this forum has absolutely nothing to do with Gasure, I was just making a point that people are too easy to write out a post on here when the answer has already been given them.

All kidding aside now, changing filter once a year or happily running 4 years; do those of us with gas conversions have to worry about not changing our filter yearly/every 1000 hours? If not, is there anything we should be watching out for as a warning of filter plugging?
Thanks,
Lloyd
