16" syncro LPG conversion?

Post by chiz »

I know that you will just tell me to speak to Gasure but for the sake of polite conversation. If I take the view that I will not off road in my 16" syncro can tanks of a certain design be fitted to the underside of the van. This is so that I do not lose storage space.

Take a measurement from the sill down to the road surface and also let me know the travel of your suspension and I'll let you know if we can fit tanks underneath.
Standard T25 is 425mm from road to sill and a 75mm - 100mm travel, LPG rules state that a tank must be 200mm above the road surface on full depression of the suspension, smallest diameter tank is 200mm diameter, standard T25 is 50mm- 75mm outside the standard.
I have fitted sill tanks to a syncro before now but it was a really tall one with massive wheels.

Hi Steve sorry for the delay. The sill to floor measurement appears to be 460mm with the bottom of the floorpan at 560mm. I am unable to do the full depression of the suspension bit as the local rugby team have broken up for the summer. I do not know if that tells you anything?
