lpg conversion of 2.1injection

Post by elenruth »

I have an 1987 2.1 fuel injection Autosleeper. I had a new(reconditioned) engine fitted 2 years ago and she runs like a dream ever since. I am now thinking of getting her converted to LPG. Does anyone know or have experience of converting this engine. Am I likely to have problems with overheating etc? :?

Again - what they all said. I drove from Inverness to Chester to get steve to do ours so enough with this "within 40 miles of Cardiff Nonsense".... :D

Well worth the effort (1 fllight, one night free camping by the M6, one day on a train etc....).

Just to agree 2.1 petrol 1987 should run well on both fuels after conversion to LPG. Check that you'll be getting an anti-backfire device fitted as part of the conversion package,
