Had a new water pump fitted to the old boy and some new hose. he was suppin coolant, the cheeky monkey. Any ways have returned home and then found that he has shed a piece of plastic from his under carridge, it looks like it could fit in the wheel arch as it is a little curved. don't think it is tho', was it protecting something. that's my best guess. Any ideas where it should go??? has it not been replaced properly when the pump has been replaced seems the best guess. would take a snap and upload it but can't for the life of me get a pic down to the low pixel rate.

It looks like the rear corner of a T4 bumper. Does it have any part numbers on it ... VW will have part no. date of manufacture and the colour of underpants Fritz was wearing that hour.

On second thoughts it doesn't look VWish ... possibly fell off some passing Chav taxi.

He's a 87 Autohomes Komet, had a good look at the offending part, there's nowt on it part no wise. thinking about it it does look bumper'ish, bet someones seen it in the road and thought it must have fallen off that old rust bucket and put it under mine!!!HA HA HA. Little do they know Komet is indestructable.
