hey i gather ya all love original rides etc me as much as the next but was just toying with the idea of putting a mitsubishi delica underpinnings with a t3 shell etc on it? measurements are very close but would provide better reliability and power??

Saw this a few days ago and I didn't post my thoughts as the mods would get upset! Perhaps the reason no one else has posted is similar?

The clean version of my original reaction is that the T3 is such a smooth drive why would anyone want to stick some ropey old junk under it and spoil the ride.

In any case, the Japanese thingy is front engined so you would have to drive your frankenbus backwards!
