Where to get correct ignition lead set for 1.9 '90?

Post by mickp79 »

Hi, just a quick one.

Does anypne know where to get hold of the correct set of ignition leads to fit 1.9 1990 engine?

Have tried GSF, got them back and the coil lead is too short , and then went to euro carparts, and they sell the same ! Any ideas?

Cheers.

Yes this has cropped up before.
I took in an old set to compare in the shop

Try using the VAG part No for a DG engine.. N 10052812 for cyl 1 & 2
and .. N 10052808 for 3 & 4
And... N 10052907 for the king lead to the coil

What about Brickwerks? I've never had a problem with the leads from there. On there it's the same leads for 1984 and later, as far as I can see.
