VW mechanics in North West

Does anyone know of any VW -friendly mechanics within reasonable distance of Manchester? Brickwerks are currently quoting November, we're hoping to get out and about much earlier...

Thanks - I thought they just concentrated on LPG vans. I'll call in the morning, not sure how to get the van there, 10 mph might take quite a while!

Do these people have a land-line number and a fixed address ?
Was once ripped off by a ?? mechanic ?? who only had a mobile number so from that day on I will not deal with anyone of any trade that does not have a land-line number for contact.
This is just a polite warning to others .

'manchester air cooled' in salford have done very well for me ( they work on watercooled t25s too)...

Having recently visited Dubstruction and being quite inpressed with there reception and optimism, feel's slightly let down with there lack of contact regarding price and availability of work to be carried out !!
