workshop manual?

Post by mwheatley »

Hi All,

I've done a quick search & not found the answer yet, so sorry if this has been asked a 100 times before!!!! What would be the best workshop manual to get for my 1991 1.6td Transporter (Westy Conversion) LHD (I assume the drive side makes little difference?)? Haynes don't seem to do a diesel version, I have seen the one JK are selling, is this one okay? It does say it doesn't cover body panels though!

Thanks in advance.

the best would be a mix of Bentley for the shell and transmission plus Russek for the T25TD specific stuff I think, but I don't do diesel myself so may be wrong, but Bentley is pretty damn good. I can supply a copy as pdf on cd if required.

I just downloaded this http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/vw-t3 ... 44721.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

haven't managed to get much of a look at it, but looks pretty useful.

Thanks for the download link. I have downloaded the file, which does look useful, but the index page is all but non existent so finding what you need in 973 pages is a bit difficult!!
