Would you buy this?
Hi all,
This is my first post; I've been looking for a T25 for some time and have found something that seems to fit our requirements. I haven't been to see it yet, apparently there's very little rust apart from the seams. It's a long way for me to go to view it, so I thought I'd ask you lovely people what you thought - how serious do you think the rust is in the pics?
Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim and welcome
What looks like little rust on the surface, could be hiding much bigger rust problems underneath.
How much are they asking is more to the point.
Also where is the van, someone may be near it to look at it for you

Depends how much it is?
but if its your first one my advise is save up a bit more and get a better one.

Thanks for the responses, guys. The van's £5500, and I'm worried about if that's just surface rust or goes deeper... I think it's too much!
I'll let you know what I decide.

Way too much money for a van with bodywork in that condition.JimandMel wrote:Thanks for the responses, guys. The van's £5500, and I'm worried about if that's just surface rust or goes deeper... I think it's too much!

I think there's no such thing as 'just surface rust' on these things, maybe I'm being pessimistic but I'd say you're looking at the tip of the iceberg there and so it's way overpriced.

Had a little surface rust on my van when i bought it, just along the lower seem seen here,
I pulled the unit out inside and it was a little more than surface. They can rot from the inside out,
