Thinking about getting one of these made up to tow the bike about , anyone good at fabricating stuff will to take it on ?

bloody hell mark you could have had my 3 bike trailer i GAVE away a fortnight ago! always the case int it :roll: i used to have a carrier that sat across the rear of the car (only about £40 off ebay) but dont think they can carry more than about 68kg,is it for your road bike?

Cheers Ben , I haven't got room for a trailer :roll: , yes its for the fatty dommie so the rear carrier is not beefy enough ,but thanks anyway :ok

Who ever does weld it up would need to be a coded welded for insurance reasons, there is one hell of a load on that, I like it but dunno if I could trust it !

I like the look of this ,but the tow hitch would have to be changed , and a cross member to ratchet the bike to

Much prefer that design as you using the strength of the steel instead of a welded angle! The welds on the pic dont look the best tho!!!!

would do mate but my mig just aint up for it! The ones we have at work are locked off and only the coded welders at work can use um :(

mine would be bolted together with M12 bolts.
no welding to worry you
