My thoughts are it wont work in the UK. But i dont know that...
I assume it relays the gps co-ordinates via SMS - so will require a fair bit of credit on the phone.
I couldnt work out if you can enable the tracking remotely (ie turn it on only when you want it to save on SMS costs).

Its possible here where, It uses the mobile phone masts to triangulate your position more accurate the in built up areas. The phone in the car responds with the calculated position when you text it.

think its a good idea, using a installed phone to find ya van, well any vehicle, very good to be honest. If some1 could monopolies something like that in the uk cheaply, i think they'd be onto a winner . . .
