Anyone recommend VW specialist near Tamworth?

Hi,

Just wondered whether anyone knew of a VW Aircooled specialist in / around Tamworth area?

Wanted someone to look over the van who knows what they are doing a lost the will to live with it myself at the moment and would like a second opinion of the issues been having with power loss (see other posts)...

Also thinking about complete engine rebuild and I remember someone saying that they had one done fairly locally for about £700 ( ) but as I don't know what I'm doing probably get someone else to give it a complete run over so I don't miss anything or buy something that I don't need!!!

Hi mate im sure there will be one closer to you but if you have ever been to the busstopover then johnsons auto works are in the next field to that but if you aint then just google them and you will find them, they just put a new clutch etc on our van and they were pretty reasonable, and steve is a top bloke, they are on the way to melton near wymswold.↲↲Hope thishelps↲cheers steve
