Just a quick question...

Post by Dangerbus »

Did vw actually sell the T25 fitted with a 1.9 deisel engine?

I see a lot of conversions from 1.6 to 1.9!

Thanks

As the link Jen gave - No!

The 1.6 and 1.7's fitted are not really up to the job of pulling 2 tons of Van so a lot of people retire their old engines and fit 1.9n/a's , 1.9TD's or 1.9TDi's

Diesel

Thanks guys for the replies...

I had looked on Simons site, the reason being I am looking at a bus that apparently has a factory fitted 1.9D engine, even the paperwork states 1900cc.

Thanks again

Post by Dangerbus »

Louey,

I had another look at the van today and it is defo a diesel, it has it written on the air box on the LHS of the engine bay. Started up fine even though it was -3°C!

Can you tell me where the engine number is on a diesel engine?

Thanks again
