camber and tracking question

Post by samk »

Hi All,

I need to get my camber and tracking sorted properly after lowering the van a while ago but before i do I go and fork out the cash I need to know if 2 things i'm going to do in the near future could knock it out again.

1. replace existing autohomes pop to for a westy - the westy will be lighter
2. change the anti roll bar link - it is cracked

Ideally, i'd like to get it done as i haver a fairly long trip coming up at the weekend.

thanks,

sam

Neither will make much difference. Just keep an eye on your tyres for a bit.

Just to put it in perspective, lightening the pop-top lost my van 80kg, about the weight of a not-too-heavy person. But getting rid of that Autohomes shed from the roof saved 7 per cent of fuel consumption.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
