Still looking for wheels

Post by jojorose »

Was chatting to my mechanic today and he said that you can buy wheels and then have the middle hole drilled bigger. Is this still safe? Sounds drastic to me and so far my wheel hunting is not going well. He also said that I had to make sure I got commercial rated alloys 15". Do you all do that?

So have beautiful van on drive, that I actually need to shift some stuff and air wont hold in tyre. Really fraustrating. Do you think that temporary gel infill might get me through a furniture moving day?

If you have a look in the tech section there is a wheels forum.. lots more info on Brickyard wheels forum too....

Do you really need alloys??

Always plenty of cheap std steels with usable tyres, in the for sale section.... at least then you could actually use your van....
