Reinforced Tyres?

Post by mwheatley »

Hi All,

I need to get two front tyres changed, they are 205/70R Reinforced 14". These were the original Sempritt tyres that were on when it came from Germany. Anyway, I've called around and this size tyre reinforced seem to be a little hard to come by apparently, although non reinforced are quite easy. My question is......would it be a problem to put non reinforced tyres on the front?

National tyres advised me to go for 195/70R which are easy to get as reinforced, but this would mean having all 4 changed & losing that "fat" tyre look that the van has.

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Many thanks.

Matt
