Borbet a on a 1991 t25

Post by brm03 »

Hello every one!!

Its time for me to change my wheels but I don't know enough about them, I'm hoping someone may help.

Can anyone tell me if a set of Borbet A 16-9j ET15 would fit my T25?

Please help as I love these wheels

Thankyou

Barry

Won't fit straight on as the rear wheel would foul the slider (stick out beyond the bodywork too far)
Try and aim for wheels with an ET of 30 to 39, still, anything above that and you can correct it with spacers.

they are nice and I have seen them fitted to vans with a sliding door modification.... My concern would be the excessive extra strain on the suspension components.

9X16 ET15 on the front...definately not.
They'll go on the rear but has Kev says...your slider will foul on the rear wheel due to the offset being too low.
There's no 'r' in bought!

Am I right in thinking that if I put spacers on then that'll increase the offset from 15mm to 35mm for example? I am sorry if this sounds simple to you guys but it's the first time I've dealt with wheel dimentions

Spacers will push the wheel out from the hub
you really need to read about this stuff so here's a few suggested places
