what tyre on 6j x 14 steels.

Post by bodgit »

as stated. would like something a bit chunkier than the 185s so is my option 205 70 14? they are going on to some syncro steels on my doka which is lowered -30 and doesnt do high mileage and rarely gets above 65 mph. would like something with a bit more grip but probably not at;s any opinions on a good choice/size appreciated.

205r14c will fit a standard van but I don't know about a lowered one
not much about at the mo Marshall/Khumo 857 seem to be all that's readily available, when I needed some tyres earlier in the year there were no premium tyres to be had, eg Contis, Michelin etc..
The Marshalls are fine, not the best in the wet, but otherwise good and decent wear rate, probably 50k miles life so you should easily get the 6 years out of them
