Extended wheel studs when fitting the spare wheel

Post by Cruz »

When I had alloys fitted it never twigged that when I ever came to fit the standard steel spare wheel in the event of a blowout I wouldn't be able to tighten up the nut because the stud bottomed out on the 19mm socket

I had to fit the spare using the 10mm spacer as my extended socket was at home.

So just to remind peeps that if they have extended wheel studs then it may be wise to invest in an extended 19mm socket too.

One of these would do the job nicely
