Re: Merc wheel offset / tyre width
My Merc Carats are ET35 with a 10mm spacers all round . My tyre size is 205/65/16 which gives a slight oversize against the original 185/14. On a AVO 50mm drop they look like the below. Drop up and have a look. I've also got some 15" mercs ( again i think ET35 ) which you could try against you van . I'd put these on195/70/15's as i like van tyres on a heavy fully loaded camper

Oh my God ! as soon as i saw your van pic i thought "damn those houses, road and trees look familiar" then i looked at your avatar and all became clear, i grew up in st ives and i think i woulda passed your house on the way home from school thats ofcourse pressuming that you do live on the hill near the school ?
I'm all excited now
Anyways back to the wheels thing your van looks pukka fella and my plans are to leave the origional skinny 14's on the front cos she aint got power steering and to go to 15's at the rear so i can get some wider rubber for that mystery machine look
Do the 15s that you have still have tyres on them ?
Thanx

Have wheels and tyres although they are not currently connected If you stick with commercial tyres rather than underated carlos vandango wide ones because of the stiffer sidewall the steering wont really be affected. The tyres i use are a standard fitment on a T5
i'll pm you my details so we can drink coffee and talk vanshite and view the local fleet
( Although you can probably find it anyway !! )
