Tyre pressure querey..

Post by Fox McIntyre »

Ok, not the usual 'what R my tyres meant to be blown up2?'. I know that :P
I have fitted 15" wheels on the back of my 'bus with massive tractor style 235/75R15 tyres. What pressure should I be looking at running them at? I would imagine less than factory pressures as they have a much bigger footprint but I'm open to suggestions :P

When I put the tyres on, I popped the bead on and shoved some air in, put them on the van then blew them up. One looked fine, but had 13PSI in. So I'm thinking a lot lower than factory..

Cheers,

Rich

35 to 40 PSI should do it.....and then see if they wear evenly...wearing edges means too low pressure, wearing the centers means too higher pressures.
