Re: WHICH ALLOY WHEELS
But they do need different nuts and bolts though (taper IIRC)
For a more comprehensive list of wheels that fit, then you want to have a look on the brickyard forum..

True...taper seated nuts and bolts required to fit Carat alloys as well as Projektzwo and Oettinger Ronal alloys..
Here's the info required from the 'Yard of other alloys that fit.

Re: WHICH ALLOY WHEELS
The Carats were the original upgrade option available from new.
As alloy wheels are cast the holes where the bolts and studs go through the wheel are deeper so require longer bolts.

Re: WHICH ALLOY WHEELS
Source a good set of merc wheels. They need longer bolts and spacers but they have the right pcd, the centre bore is plenty big enough and the offsets are useable with spacers. If they are recently new wheels the holes are 14mm too.
I got a full set of 4 year old 16" merc rims with the right size tyres that all had 6mm tread on for £150. Because they are recently new the bolt holes are 14mm (12mm on older mercs)......he had spelt Mercedes wrong though which helped keep the price down as an identical, correctly spelt, set sold for £411
