Hi all
had a flat tyre the other day and had to call out the AA.
Got it fixed, tyre replaced so thought no problemo. Going
on holiday to Europe on Saturday and the same tyre is going
down again now. Should add that the first one that went did not
show any problems. The only thing I can say is that the tyre in
question is extremely hot compared to the others.
Any ideas ? Need to get it sorted pretty quick.
Thanx.

Re: Tyre problem
Has the wheel been damaged so the tyre is not sealing properly, also check the tracking. The tyre will get hotter as it goes down due to increased friction. Mark

Re: Tyre problem
The tyre was replaced, so it is brand new. After I just had it
fitted I stopped for petrol (10 miles maybe) and it was really
hot then, but fully inflated.
Thanks for the reply.

Re: Tyre problem
Make sure that wheel spins freely, a binding brake will heat up a tyre
and check they are inflated to the correct pressure, low pressure will heat up a tyre too
