rear wheel studs
hi folks iv just upgraded my standard steel wheels to vw carratt alloys, but the problem i have is even though i have the correct wheel nuts for the carratt alloys, there doesnt seem to be enough bite on the studs only 7-8 turns, did later model t25s fitted with alloys standard have longer studs? and do you think i should change the studs as well thanks steve.

Re: rear wheel studs
All T25's from the factory have the same rear studs.
Steel wheels use radius seated nuts and bolts.
Carat alloys use tapered seated nuts and bolts.
If you've got the correct taper seated nuts and bolts then that's it.
