Standard wheel refurb

Post by Coops »

Hi Folks

just thought I'd share with you my wheel refurb.
I got a set of standard wheels that were hand painted in a creamy white, I stripped them & have resparayed them, ford purple velvet, with a clear coat. I'm well chuffed with the result, they're not show condition but better than they were :D

Hi sabcully

I used an abrasive disc that I fitted to a drill. The disc is normally used on mini air grinders, Its for removing paint & rust. But a wire wheel would probably give the same results.

HTH :)
