Getting bigger tyres ? ( to 205 from 185 )

On the Tyresave web page it recommends staying within 2.5% of original overall tyre diameter.
This is shown as 24.2" with (A) 185/70 14" or 25.3" with (B) 205/70 14"
The difference shown on the calculator thingy between (A) and (B) is 4.55%
This is making my head hurt!... so are Tyresave saying that is a bigger increase than they recommend ?
If so... Is that being over-cautious?
