Advice on Wheels.

Post by Basher »

Just parchased a 85 Vw t25 t3 4 speed, can anyone advise me how this wheel and tyre package will sit once fitted,
7.5j x 16 x 4
5 / 112 pcd
67mm centre bore
2 x 215 55 r16
2 x 225 55r 16
Will they alter the gearing, also i would like to lower it once the wheels are fitted, what drop should i be looking at.

Thanks.

you'll need 10mm spacers to bring the ET from 45 to 35
and longer studs
the tyres are good the 215's are only 11 mm under standard circumference (I prefer a 60 profile to be over)

No they won't alter gearing

I don't know about drop as I like the standard comfortable ride and height
