Tyre Pressures

Post by funkypaul »

Hi All,
Want to get the tyre pressures on my van right but a bit confused about what I should be going for. I found the information about tyre pressures on the passenger side door column (as directed in the wiki) but seem to have three options to chose between. I'm just not sure which one corresponds to my van.

The three options are:

1. 7.00 - 14 8 PR
2. 185 R 14 C 6 PR
3. 185 SR 14 reint

My van is a 1983 watercooled 1.9 petrol van. Which of the three options should I be going for? - I have no idea what these codes correspond to.
Thanks,
Paul

What tyres are fitted to your van.. (look at the sidewalls) then use the coresponding pressures.. BUT, as standard it ought to have 185r14C tyres..
