225/55R17 (101 XL) Barum Bravuris Tyre

225/55ZR17 MATADOR MP45 XL 102W

both £70 plus vat, but they are load rated and good quality! go to your local tyre place, not a national one, a local, and ask them if they can get these! they will mostlikely say no, ask them to look anyway! most 17s are a 45 or 50 profile, which will seriously affect the ride quality! the bigger the better! my 18s have got 45s on which are fine but i wouldn't like to have a got on the 35s or 40 that most wheels come with!

Fitting 225/55/17's will alter your speedo reading and your gearing because they have a larger rolling radius than your standard set up.
