Tyre pressures?

Post by Jill »

Hi All,

Can anyone give me some info on tyre pressures for my T25?

She is a 1984 homebrew camper with a Viking roof. I will be taking a full load, (4 adults plus Awning, and odds and sods) this weekend to the New Forest.

I'm not sure what pressures to put in on 102/100 steel belted radials 185R14C are the numbers I have.

All advice gratefully accepted! :)

Cheers, Jill

Have a look in the doot openings there should be a sticker there which tells you what to use.. in it hasnt been painted over...!!!

Failing that most should be run around 43psi in the front and 48psi in the rear... have a look in the "WIKI" at the top on the page also...

or click on "search" from the menu at the top of the page, enter 'tyre' as a search term and then scroll down through the list of threads that this produces. There's a few there about tyre pressures.

Tyre Pressures?

Post by Bowton Lad »

My Auto-Sleeper camper is registered 1/84 (manufactured 10/83) & the VW T25 Instruction Manual dated 7/83 gives the tyre pressures for 185R14C commercial tyres as:-

FRONT: 2.5 bars (35 psi) REAR: 3.3 bars (47 psi) SPARE: 3.3 bars (47 psi).
